About the Position

We are currently seeking a support assistant/support educator or nursing assistant for the Unit for Functional Support within the Social and Care Administration. The position is a full-time temporary contract until 31/12-25 with immediate start or by agreement. There is a possibility for extension.

The position is primarily based in a group home according to 9 § 9 LSS with regular job duties, which include providing care/support services and delegated health and medical services, as well as advocating for the client's interests and activities that provide a meaningful everyday life. Working hours are scheduled according to a roster, including days and evenings on weekdays and weekends, as well as night shifts.

Qualifications

We require that you have formal qualifications as a nursing assistant from a care program, child and leisure program, support educator, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Documented experience in the field of functional support is an advantage.

After training, you should be able to work in our operational system and other IT systems used by the organization. Being able to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, is a requirement, as well as a B driver's license, since driving a minibus is part of the job. You should have good physical capacity to manage walking, cycling, swimming, and lifting in your work.

To perform well in the role of support assistant/support educator, you need to be flexible, responsible, and independent. We also expect you to be attentive and enjoy working together with others towards common goals.
